The Admissions Policy outlines the conditions and requirements for admission and enrolment in programs of study at Marianopolis, in accordance with Ministerial regulations and reflecting the College’s commitment to academic excellence.
The Code of Employee Conduct defines the standards of professional conduct espoused by all Marianopolis personnel and governors, while providing measures for examining possible instances of non-compliance with these standards.
The Code of Student Conduct establishes each student’s rights and responsibilities towards a safe and respectful learning environment, both inside and outside the classroom, while outlining procedures for addressing misconduct.
The Copyright Policy ensures that all members of the College community comply with federal copyright law and any relevant licenses. Students and employees are responsible for ensuring that their use of any piece of copyrighted material respects this policy, whether in an educational or recreational context.
The Emergency Procedures outline immediate steps and safety measures that members of the College community should take in the event of an emergency on campus. Various types of emergencies are listed and simple instructions provided.
The English Language Policy provides a framework for the use of English as the official language of education at Marianopolis, and outlines the measures designed to foster the intellectual and personal development of students through mastery of the English language.
The French Language Policy (Politique de la langue française) provides a framework for the use and quality of the French language, notably with respect to admissions measures, the teaching and mastery of French as a second language, and the services and official written communications in French.
The Institutional Policy on the Evaluation of Student Achievement (IPESA) sets forth the principles and practices concerning the evaluation of student learning, including provisions on academic integrity, students’ and teachers’ rights and responsibilities, and the roles of various College bodies.
The Privacy Policy safeguards the confidentiality of personal information in the College’s custody or control, upholds privacy legislation and provide institutional guidelines for the collection, usage and disclosure of personal information.
The Program Management Policy (PMP) provides the framework for the management of all academic programs at Marianopolis. The policy defines a collaborative and continuous-improvement approach to ensure the quality and proper functioning of programs, and to support students as they pursue academic excellence.
The Psychological Harassment Prevention Policy aims to provide all members of the College community with an environment that is free from harassment and outlines mechanisms for addressing possible situations of harassment.
The Sexual Violence Prevention Policy affirms the College’s zero-tolerance stance on sexual violence, providing measures for education on and prevention of sexual violence, as well as coordinated and timely response to complaints and support for survivors.
The Smoke-Free Policy establishes Marianopolis as a smoke-free and cannabis-free college in accordance with provincial law. This policy limits smoking in all its forms to designated areas on campus and prohibits the use and possession of marijuana in all its forms.
The Student Mental Health Policy establishes an institutional framework for awareness, prevention, intervention and support for student mental health. It defines roles and responsibilities associated with this framework and outlines the mental health services available to students.
