Students in the Music program hosted their first concert of the year, featuring a dynamic mix of classical pieces and jazz standards.

The evening included the debut performance of the College’s Mini Big Band, which showcased a trumpet, alto saxophone, trombone, tenor saxophone, clarinet, jazz guitar, double bass and drums. The eight-piece ensemble was coached by Professor Kate Wyatt, an award-winning jazz pianist and innovative music instructor.

With such an exciting start to the season, music enthusiasts can look forward to a variety of performances throughout the academic year.
