Applicants who are not Canadian citizens or permanent residents must obtain two immigration documents to study at the college level: a Quebec Acceptance Certificate (CAQ) and a Canadian Study Permit. Valid copies of both documents are required to begin classes. The College encourages applicants to apply for these documents as soon as they receive their letter of acceptance. Find out how to apply for your immigration documents.
Applicants from international institutions must provide documentation demonstrating an academic background equivalent to the Quebec Diploma of Secondary Studies (Diplôme d’études secondaires) and be in their final year of (non-technical) secondary studies. A Comparative Evaluation from the Quebec Ministry of Immigration is not required.
France
Students in the French system (outside of Quebec) must be completing their Première class level to be eligible to apply. They must also be completing courses that are equivalent to any required program prerequisite course. Students from French system schools in Montreal, Collège international Marie de France and Collège Stanislas, must be completing their Seconde class level and any required program prerequisite complement courses. These students must successfully pass the Québec Histoire-Éducation Citoyenneté course and request that their school provide them with their final grades and an equivalence letter from the Quebec Ministry of Education. All documents should then be submitted to Marianopolis College.
