Social Science Commerce Graduate Shares Career Advice

September 2023 – Social Science Commerce graduate Elhanan Moryoussef ’12 spoke to more than 200 students at a special event organized by members of the Young Executives Business Club (YEBC), the club he helped found over 10 years ago.

Elhanan’s presentation centered on themes of imagination and determination. He spoke candidly to students about his journey in the business world, which has taken him to Beijing, New York City, London, and now Paris, where he works in finance as a client retention specialist.

Elhanan encouraged students to make the most of their time at the College and to never underestimate their potential or ability to take on challenging projects and tasks.

Social Science professor Bruno Delorme, one of Elhanan’s first mentors and current YEBC advisor, facilitated the discussion and Q&A alongside current student and YEBC president, Brian Ly.

Elhanan was invited to speak at the College after former YEBC president Ethan Wu (’23) reached out over LinkedIn to let him know that YEBC was still thriving at Marianopolis more than 10 years later.

The event was an exciting opportunity for current students to receive advice from an alumnus who was in their position just a few years ago.

Many thanks to Elhanan for sharing his inspiring message and insights from his own academic and professional career with our students.
