April 2024 – First-year student Ruijia Zhang won the 1er Grand Prix au Collégial for responsible investment at the 2024 Bourstad Challenge organized by CIRANO.

Ruijia was one of over 2,500 students who participated in the investment simulation competition, where participants manage a $200,000 virtual portfolio.

Four other Marianopolis students were also recognized for their performance in the competition. First-year students Calvin Dong and Ji Lan Huang earned a Mention d’excellence for portfolio management, while second-year Social Science students Puja Kachhadiya and Kelly Yan received a Mention d’excellence for financial performance.
