May 2024 – Three Marianopolis student-athletes were awarded national bursaries at the 2024 Célébration Sport-Études event earlier this month.

Health Science student Lea Janevski (trampoline), Honours Health Science student Zhi Jun Liu (fencing) and Pure & Applied Science student Hunter Wei (fencing) each received $2,000 bursaries in recognition of their academic and athletic accomplishments over the last year.

Tanja Geurtsen, the dedicated academic advisor for student-athletes at Marianopolis, also joined them to celebrate the occasion. Marianopolis partners with Alliance Sport-Études to provide comprehensive support for elite athletes as they balance college studies with busy training and competition schedules.
